Itinerary and accommodations:
 Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech.
The tour starts by picking you up at RAK Airport. We will accompany you to the riad to
check in, relax, and get ready for the tour the next day.
Accommodation: Riad Tassili or similar.
 Day 2: Marrakech guided tour.
After a good night’s sleep at your riad, you will be ready for a guided tour of the famous
historical sites of Marrakech. Since most of the attractions are located in the old streets of
Medina, we will hire a friendly local guide to lead us. First, we can start with the Saadian
tombs. They were hidden behind walls until 1917, which makes them even more special.
Here you can admire some amazing tile designs and learn from your guide about the
history of the Saadian dynasty.
Next, you will visit the Bahia and Badi Palaces. These places are a real spectacle with
their detailed mosaics and beautifully carved wooden ceilings. In addition, these palaces
are endowed with spacious gardens, perfect for taking a break from the frenetic pace of
the city. You can also stroll around the Jamaa El Fna square to see the colorful markets,
storytellers, snake charmers, and much more. You will also have the chance to see the
largest mosque in Marrakech, the Koutoubia, and learn about its long history.
After a delicious lunch, you can return to relax at the hotel after a long walk through the
Medina, or you can go to the modern part of Marrakech to visit the Majorelle Garden.
Finally, you will have a free afternoon to discover the city on your own.

 Day 3: Marrakech to Dades.
We will pick you up at your hotel in the morning to start our trip from Marrakech to the
Dades Gorges. On the way, we can stop at a place where argan oil is produced. Here you
can see how this special oil, so appreciated by women, is made. We then cross the High
Atlas Mountains via the Tichka Pass, the fastest route to the Sahara Desert. We will
climb the mountains until we reach an altitude of 2260 m, where we will make a short
stop to enjoy the view of the mountains and stretch our legs.
Next we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This ancient fortress has

appeared in many films, such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator. It was also an
important trading post for the Tuareg Berbers heading to the coastal cities of Morocco.
We will then head to Ouarzazate, often called the city of cinema in Morocco. Here we
will visit the Oscar Studio, where the sets for making the films are located. Continuing
on, we will pass by numerous ancient fortresses until we reach the Valley of the Roses.
Here you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and visit a company that produces rose-based
products.
Finally, we will arrive at the Dades Gorges and check into the hotel.

Day 4: Dades to Merzouga.
On the fourth day, you will travel south to Tinghir and make a special stop to visit the
Grand Canyons of Todgha. This peaceful place is characterized by a river that meanders
between high mountains. You will also have free time to walk through the gorges and
admire the views.
You will then reach an ancient irrigation system that helps keep the nearby oasis of Fzna
green and lush. In the late afternoon you will arrive in Merzouga, ready for an exciting
camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. Imagine watching a stunning sunset from the
top of these golden dunes! You will then spend the night in a Berber camp under the
stars, listening to traditional music and stories about the desert.

 Day 5: Merzouga to Ouarzazate.
Today, it is recommended to wake up early for the magical sunrise over the golden
dunes. After breakfast, our tour continues towards Rissani. A very important city in the
southeast of Morocco. It is known for its big traditional market. If you are lucky enough
to be there on a market day (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday), It gets very busy with the
local people. There, you can have a walk and see where the locals go to buy goods. You
can visit the animal market, the Jewish quarter, the craftsmen area, and many more.
Afterward, we will drive through Draa Valley, the longest river in Morocco. Not to
mention that it is considered the biggest source of dates in the country.
Arriving in Ouarzazate, we will check in to the hotel, relax, and get our energy restored.

 Day 6: Ouarzazate to Marrakech.
After breakfast at the riad, we will travel to Marrakech,, making some quick stops to
admire the views of the Atlas Mountains. You will have free time on your own in
Marrakech to relax and get ready to depart the next day.

 Day 7: Departure to the airport.
This would be the last day of our tour; we will take you to the airport.
