This 8-day adventure begins in the heart of the country, in the magical city of Marrakech, and takes you through the majestic Atlas Mountains, traditional Berber villages, ancient kasbahs, and finally to the golden dunes of the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Let the journey begin!

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech – The Gateway to Morocco

We warmly welcome you to Marrakech! After your arrival at the airport, you’ll be transferred to a charming riad in the old medina. In the evening, take a gentle walk to the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where snake charmers, storytellers, and street food stalls come to life in a scene that feels like stepping into another world.

Day 2: Explore Marrakech – Culture and Colors

Today is dedicated to discovering Marrakech’s hidden gems. We’ll visit the stunning Bahia Palace, the mysterious Saadian Tombs, and the colorful souks where artisans craft leather, lanterns, and spices. After lunch, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the iconic Majorelle Garden, followed by optional relaxation in a traditional Moroccan hammam. Dinner awaits in a rooftop restaurant under the stars.

Day 3: A Day in the Atlas Mountains

We leave the city behind and head toward the tranquil Ourika Valley or Imlil, nestled in the High Atlas Mountains. Enjoy breathtaking views, visit a local Berber family, and share a traditional homemade lunch. If you like, we’ll hike to a nearby waterfall before returning to Marrakech in the late afternoon.

Day 4: Journey to the South – Aït Benhaddou & Ouarzazate

An early start takes us over the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass toward the desert frontier. We’ll stop at Telouet Kasbah, then continue to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou, a historic clay village used in many films. By evening, we reach Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Africa,” where we spend the night.

Day 5: Through the Draa Valley to Merzouga

Today’s route winds through palm oases and ancient kasbahs along the Draa Valley. After a scenic journey, we arrive in Merzouga, where your camel awaits. As the sun sets, ride through the dunes to a desert camp. Spend the night under a sky full of stars, accompanied by Berber music around the fire.

 Day 6: Discovering the Sahara

Wake up early to catch the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, visit Khamlia village, home to Gnawa musicians, and explore the desert surroundings fossils, black desert landscapes, or sandboarding fun. Tonight, you can choose to relax in a guesthouse or enjoy a second night in the camp.

Day 7: Gorges and Valleys – Back through the Mountains
