Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – First Touch of Morocco

We’ll begin in Casablanca. After settling into your hotel or riad, we’ll take a light walking tour of the Habous district, a quiet blend of Moroccan soul and French planning. Then we head to the iconic Hassan II Mosque, and if we arrive before sunset, we’ll see the waves crash below its massive minaret.

Evening walk? We can head to a rooftop café overlooking the ocean. Rest well – tomorrow, we hit the road.

Day 2: Casablanca ➝ Rabat ➝ Asilah – From Capital Vibes to Artistic Calm

In the morning, we’ll drive to Rabat, Morocco’s calm and elegant capital. We’ll visit the Kasbah of the Udayas, walk along the Bouregreg River, and stop by the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V.

By early afternoon, we head north to Asilah, a quiet coastal town known for its street art and clean medina. We’ll wander the colorful alleys and relax by the ramparts overlooking the Atlantic. The night will be in a charming guesthouse near the sea.

Day 3: Asilah ➝ Chefchaouen – Into the Blue Mountains

After breakfast, we head inland and upward toward the Rif Mountains, arriving in Chefchaouen, the famous blue town. But instead of the touristy center, we’ll take a walk on the outskirts , shepherd paths, waterfalls, and hidden viewpoints.

Afternoon is free: wander the painted medina at your pace. Want to try local goat cheese or mint tea with a view? This is the place. We’ll stay the night in a riad with a terrace over the blue rooftops.

Day 4: Chefchaouen ➝ Meknes – History Less Touched

We leave the blue town behind and descend towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities , often forgotten in the shadow of Fes.

We’ll explore the Royal Stables, the Bab Mansour gate, and the mysterious underground prison of Habs Qara. Meknes is quiet, but rich in stories. The medina is compact and perfect to get lost in without stress. Tonight, we stay in a historic riad in the old town.

Day 5: Meknes ➝ Volubilis ➝ Fes – Ancient Stones to Timeless Medina

A short drive takes us to Volubilis, Morocco’s best-preserved Roman ruins. You can walk among ancient columns, mosaics, and olive presses that once fed an empire.

After lunch near the ruins, we head to Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco. But we won’t dive in right away — we’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the medina from the hilltop first, then rest in our riad, tucked into a calm alley inside the old walls.

Day 6: Fes – The Labyrinth of Life

This day is for deep exploration. With a local guide (or on your own, if you’re the adventurous type), we’ll walk through Fes el-Bali, the old medina. You’ll see craftsmen hammering brass, dyers coloring wool, and woodworkers shaping cedar.

We’ll visit Al-Qarawiyyin University (the oldest in the world), the Tannery, and some peaceful hidden corners only locals know.

Evening is free – you might just sit on the riad rooftop with the call to prayer echoing through the hills.

Day 7: Fes ➝ Ifrane ➝ Casablanca – Through the Unexpected

Today, we take the scenic route back to Casablanca. First stop: Ifrane, Morocco’s surprising alpine town. Think clean streets, cedar trees, and… Swiss-style chalets! It’s great for a quick break and coffee.

We continue through the Middle Atlas, with plenty of photo stops, and reach Casablanca by late afternoon. One last chance to enjoy the ocean breeze before our journey ends.

Day 8: The end of the Trip

Depending on your flight, you may have time for a last stroll in Mohammed V Square, or a stop at a patisserie for coffee and “cornes de gazelle”.

We say goodbye — but as every Moroccan will tell you: “you leave Morocco, but Morocco never leaves you.”
