Day 1 / Arrival in Casablanca – A Gentle Start

Welcome to Morocco! Today’s about settling in and taking it slow. Depending on your arrival time, we’ll take a short walk along the Atlantic coast, feel the breeze, and maybe stop by the majestic Hassan II Mosque – it literally rises from the ocean. We’ll end the day with a cozy dinner at a local spot where you can try your first taste of Moroccan cuisine – maybe a slow-cooked lamb tajine or a hearty harira soup.

Day 2 / Casablanca to Rabat – A Taste of the Capital

After breakfast, we head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. It’s a calm, elegant city with a mix of old charm and modern vibes. We’ll explore the Kasbah of the Udayas with its white-and-blue houses, then walk to the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. In the evening, you can sip mint tea by the Bouregreg River and watch the sun melt into the horizon.

Day 3 / Rabat to Chefchaouen – Into the Blue

Today we head north into the mountains. As we drive into Chefchaouen, you’ll start seeing the blue everywhere. The whole town is painted in shades of sky and ocean. We’ll settle into a riad tucked inside the medina and take a peaceful evening stroll through the winding alleys. The calm here is something special – it’s like time slows down.

Day 4 / Full Day in Chefchaouen – Chill, Wander, Discover

This day is for you to enjoy at your own rhythm. In the morning, we’ll hike gently up to the Spanish Mosque, a viewpoint overlooking the entire city. Then we head back for a relaxed walk through the medina – great for photos, shopping, or simply watching daily life unfold. Chefchaouen is a feeling as much as it is a place.

Day 5 / Chefchaouen to Tangier – Where Two Seas Meet

We continue toward the northern tip of Morocco – Tangier. This city has hosted artists, spies, and dreamers for centuries. We’ll explore the historic kasbah, visit the famous Caves of Hercules by the sea, and walk along the beachfront promenade. Expect a mix of African soul and European flair.

Day 6 / Tangier to Asilah – A Coastal Escape

After breakfast, we make a short trip to Asilah – a peaceful seaside town known for its murals and art scene. It’s the perfect place to slow down. We’ll stroll through its clean white medina, admire colorful street art, and enjoy lunch by the ocean. The sunsets here are magical, especially from the old Portuguese ramparts.

Day 7 / Asilah to Fes – Into the Heart of Tradition

We leave the Atlantic coast and head inland to the city of Fes. After arriving, we check into our riad in the heart of the medina. Fes is intense, rich in history, and full of stories. This evening is for resting and enjoying the quiet charm of the riad.

Day 8 / Exploring Fes – The Living Museum

Today we dive deep into Fes. We’ll walk through narrow, maze-like streets full of artisans, spice markets, and ancient mosques. We’ll visit the tanneries, peek into the University of Al Quaraouiyine (the oldest in the world), and see traditional pottery being made. This is a place where the past is very much alive.

Day 9 / Day Trip to Meknes & Volubilis – Kings & Romans

Today we head out of Fes to explore nearby Meknes, a quieter imperial city with grand gates and peaceful gardens. Then on to Volubilis – ancient Roman ruins surrounded by olive trees and rolling hills. You’ll walk through 2,000 years of history under open skies.

Day 10 / Fes to Midelt – Crossing the Middle Atlas

We begin our journey toward the desert. The road takes us through cedar forests, mountain lakes, and monkey-filled woodlands. Midelt is a small town in the highlands, great for resting before we descend into the desert lands.

Day 11 / Midelt to Merzouga – Welcome to the Dunes

Today, the landscape changes. As we drive through palm valleys and oases, the sand begins to appear. By late afternoon, we reach Merzouga, and from there, we ride camels across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Tonight, we sleep under the stars in a desert camp. There will be music, fire, and a sky full of constellations.

Day 12 / Merzouga Region – Life at the Edge of the Sahara

After watching the sunrise over the dunes, we return to the village and rest a bit. Then we visit a local Gnawa music group in Khamlia, meet nomadic families who live in the desert, and maybe take a 4×4 ride through the vast empty landscapes. The stillness here is something you’ll never forget.

Day 13 / Merzouga to Todgha Gorges – Mountains and Cliffs

We drive through changing landscapes – from sand to stone to river valleys. By afternoon, we arrive at Todgha Gorges, where sheer red cliffs rise dramatically above a river. It’s a favorite spot for climbers and photographers. You’ll feel tiny in the best way possible.

Day 14 / Todgha to Dades Valley – Rugged Beauty

A short drive takes us to the Dades Valley, known for its crazy rock formations and traditional mud villages. We’ll stop at local viewpoints, visit a family home, and enjoy a home-cooked meal. It’s a day to connect with the land and the people.

Day 15 / Dades to Ouarzazate – The Kasbah Route

We continue along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing through rose-filled valleys and old Berber villages. Our stop is Ouarzazate, where movies like Gladiator and Game of Thrones were filmed. We’ll visit the famous Aït Benhaddou fortress – an earthen marvel that’s stood for centuries.

Day 16 / Ouarzazate to Marrakech – Over the Mountains

Today we climb the High Atlas Mountains, winding through Tizi n’Tichka Pass – with dramatic views and scenic stops. By evening, we arrive in Marrakech, the Red City, where life pulses in every corner. Dinner tonight is on a rooftop overlooking the magical chaos of Jemaa el-Fnaa.

Day 17 / Full Day in Marrakech – Colors, Sounds, and Soul

We explore the soul of Marrakech: Bahia Palace with its tiled halls, Majorelle Gardens with Yves Saint Laurent’s legacy, and the endless souks where everything from spices to lanterns beckons. We’ll also take time to rest, maybe with a traditional hammam or a café stop in the medina.

Day 18 / Day Trip to Ourika Valley – Nature Just Outside the City

To refresh our senses, we escape the city for a day. Ourika Valley, nestled in the Atlas foothills, is green and serene. We’ll walk along the river, visit local markets, and if you’re up for it, take a short hike to the waterfalls. Lunch will be near the water.

Day 19 / Back to Casablanca – Wrapping It All Up

We leave Marrakech and return to where it all began – Casablanca. It’s a relaxed drive, giving you time to reflect on the journey. Back in Casa, we can stop for last-minute shopping, beachside coffee, or just a walk to say goodbye to Morocco’s ocean.

Day 20 / the end of the trip

Depending on your flight time, you’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast before we take you to the airport. Thank you for traveling with us. You’ve seen the mountains, the sea, the desert, and the soul of Morocco. We hope the memories stay with you forever.
