We spent four days between the Atlas Mountains and the desert. The organization was perfect, Hassan was attentive to our needs and accommodated our requests. Although the price was honest and low, the hotels chosen were of quality with incredible dinners.
We enjoyed everything. We spent four days with our guide Rachid and he was a true friend; a true expert and a great fan of his work. Rachid made us discover less touristy places and we traveled along off-road routes. It was a great privilege to have known him.

the ultimate Epic 4-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Adventur itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka – Aït Ben Haddou – Dades
We will start our adventure early from Marrakech, heading through Tizi n’Tichka, the highest mountain pass in Morocco. The road is full of breathtaking scenery: towering mountains, small Amazigh villages, and slopes dotted with cedar trees.
Our first stop is Aït Ben Haddou, a historic village and UNESCO World Heritage site. Here, you can stroll through the traditional clay houses, take amazing photos, and enjoy a cup of traditional Moroccan mint tea at a small local café.
In the evening, we continue to Dades, where we will stay overnight in a comfortable local hotel. Take a moment to enjoy the stunning Dades Valley views and the unique rock formations known as the “Dades Fingers” before sunset.
Day 2: Dades – Drâa Valley – Todgha – Merzouga
This morning, we take a short tour around Dades Valley, admiring the unique rock formations and walking paths between the cliffs. Then, we head towards Drâa Valley, a lush oasis with palm trees and small villages along the way, where you can see the traditional daily life of local families.
We stop for lunch to taste authentic Moroccan dishes such as couscous Tagine… After lunch, we continue our journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you can marvel at the golden sand dunes, take beautiful photos, and even enjoy a short walk in the sand or a camel ride if you wish.
Day 3: Merzouga – Return to Ouarzazate
This morning, after enjoying the sunrise or the peaceful desert atmosphere, we begin our journey back from Merzouga to Ouarzazate. The road offers magnificent scenery, passing through valleys, mountains, and desert landscapes.
We can stop along the way for a light snack or more photo opportunities. Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, we will check into a comfortable hotel for the night. You may also visit the Taourirt Kasbah or the Cinema Museum if you wish to explore the city a bit before resting.
Day 4: Ouarzazate – Return to Marrakech via Tizi n’Tichka
After breakfast, we start our final leg back to Marrakech. We will pass again through Tizi n’Tichka, enjoying the breathtaking mountain views and stopping at scenic viewpoints for photos.
