Day 1: Ouarzazate – Skoura – Todra Gorge – Merzouga

Today we start our desert adventure from Ouarzazate, the city of cinema. After breakfast, we’ll drive through the road of a thousand kasbahs. Our first stop is Skoura Oasis, where palm trees, mud-brick houses, and old kasbahs give you a real feeling of Morocco’s countryside.

From there, the landscapes change as we reach the Valley of Roses and continue to the Todra Gorge. This canyon, with its tall red cliffs, is a perfect place to stretch your legs, take photos, or just enjoy the cool air between the rocks.

In the afternoon, we cross small Berber villages and desert towns until we finally arrive in Merzouga, right at the edge of the Sahara dunes. Here, camels will be waiting for us to ride into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset. Watching the sun disappear behind the dunes is an unforgettable moment.

Afterwards, we’ll reach our desert camp, where a traditional dinner will be served. Sit by the fire, listen to Berber drums, and enjoy the magic of the starry desert sky before spending the night in your tent.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes , the colors of the desert at this hour are simply breathtaking. After breakfast, we begin our way back. Our first stop is Erfoud, a town famous for fossils and date markets. It’s a good place to see local crafts and taste fresh dates if you like.

We continue through the Ziz Valley, full of palm groves, before reaching the Dades Valley, where dramatic rock formations and old kasbahs create postcard views. You’ll have time to enjoy lunch and take some last photos of the valley.

By late afternoon, we arrive back in Ouarzazate, where our desert journey ends.
