Day 1: Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

We begin our journey from Errachidia heading south through the stunning Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and small Berber villages. We’ll stop along the way to admire the panoramic views and take photos of the endless date palms.

By midday, we’ll arrive in Erfoud, known as the city of fossils. Here you can see how locals polish fossils that are millions of years old, or simply enjoy a walk in the town. After lunch, we continue to Merzouga, right at the edge of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

In the late afternoon, camels will be waiting for you to ride into the dunes. Watching the sunset over the Sahara is an amazing experience. Dinner will be served at the desert camp, followed by Berber music by the fire and a night under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Erfoud – Errachidia

Wake up early to enjoy the magical sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we’ll head out to explore a little more of the desert area. You’ll have the chance to visit nomadic families, taste a cup of mint tea, or listen to the rhythms of traditional Gnawa music in a local village.

Later, we drive back toward Erfoud and the Ziz Valley, with stops along the way for photos and short walks. By the afternoon, we arrive back in Errachidia, where our two-day desert adventure ends .
