Day 1: Arrival in Tangier

We will pick you up directly from Tangier Airport and take you to your hotel so you can relax after your flight. Once you’ve had a little rest, we will go on a short introduction tour of Tangier. We will walk along the Corniche overlooking the sea, we will explore the narrow streets of the old medina, and then we will visit the famous Hercules Cave, a place where history and legend meet. By the end of the day, you will already feel the special charm of Morocco.

Day 2: Excursion to Asilah

After breakfast, we will drive you to Asilah, a peaceful coastal town known for its whitewashed walls and colorful murals. We will stroll through its quiet alleys, we will admire the Portuguese fortifications, and we will enjoy the ocean breeze from the ramparts. We will also give you time to sit at a seaside café or explore local art shops before we return to Tangier for the night.

Day 3: Tangier – Tetouan – Chefchaouen

Today we will take you first to Tetouan, known as the “White Dove of Morocco.” We will walk through its medina, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and we will admire its Andalusian influence. From there, we will continue to the Rif Mountains until we reach Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City. We will settle into our hotel, and then we will wander through the magical blue-painted streets.

Day 4: Chefchaouen

We will dedicate this day to discovering Chefchaouen in depth. We will walk slowly through its charming alleys, we will visit the Ras El Ma waterfall at the edge of town, and we will climb to the Spanish Mosque to enjoy a breathtaking view over the blue city. In the evening, we will relax in the main square where life is calm and authentic.

Day 5: Chefchaouen – Fes

We will leave Chefchaouen and drive across beautiful mountain landscapes, passing through the town of Ouazzane, known for its olive groves. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Fes, the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. We will take you directly to your riad in the old medina, where you can feel the soul of the city from the very first moment.

Day 6: Exploring Fes

We will spend the whole day in Fes, accompanied by a local guide. We will walk through the labyrinth of alleys in the medina, we will visit Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the oldest in the world, we will watch the traditional process of leather dyeing at the Chouara Tanneries, and we will stop by artisan workshops that preserve centuries-old techniques. By the end of the day, you will feel that Fes has transported you back in time.

Day 7: Ifrane – Azrou – Back to Fes

After breakfast, we will go on a day trip to Ifrane, a charming mountain town often called “the Switzerland of Morocco.” We will stroll through its clean streets, then we will continue to the cedar forest of Azrou, where we will meet the wild Barbary monkeys. We will enjoy some fresh mountain air before returning to Fes in the afternoon.

Day 8: Fes – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Today, we will begin our journey to the Sahara. We will cross the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing through valleys, cedar forests, and small Berber villages. We will stop in Midelt for lunch, then we will continue through the dramatic Ziz Valley until we reach Erfoud, known for its fossils. By sunset, we will arrive in Merzouga, where camels will be waiting to take us across the golden dunes. We will ride into the desert and watch the sun disappear behind the sand hills before spending the night in a desert camp under the stars.

Day 9: Desert Experience

We will wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes – an unforgettable moment. After breakfast, we will explore the desert surroundings: we will visit a nomadic family to learn about their way of life, we will pass by the seasonal lake of Merzouga (Dayet Srij), and then we will enjoy live Gnawa music in the village of Khamlia. In the afternoon, you can relax at the camp or go on a 4×4 adventure through the dunes.

Day 10: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley

We will leave the desert and head toward the Todra Gorge, where high cliffs rise dramatically on both sides of the valley. We will walk along the river between the giant rocks before continuing to the Dades Valley, a place of striking landscapes with winding roads and kasbahs.

Day 11: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we will drive along the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs. We will pass through the Rose Valley, famous for its rosewater products, and we will stop in small Berber villages. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where we will spend the night.

Day 12: Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou

We will take you to explore the Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate, and then we will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most impressive ksars in Morocco. We will walk inside its ancient walls, and you may recognize film locations from movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones.

Day 13: Ouarzazate – High Atlas – Marrakech

We will drive across the High Atlas Mountains, climbing up to the Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will stop to admire the spectacular views. By late afternoon, we will arrive in Marrakech, the Red City.

Day 14: Marrakech City Tour

We will spend the whole day exploring Marrakech. We will visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the famous Majorelle Garden. In the evening, we will head to Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, where snake charmers, storytellers, and food stalls bring the city to life.

Day 15: Marrakech – Free Day or Excursion

You can enjoy a free day in Marrakech to relax, shop, or simply wander. If you wish, we will take you on an excursion to the Ourika Valley, a refreshing escape in the Atlas Mountains.

Day 16: Marrakech – Essaouira

We will drive you to the Atlantic coast, passing through argan tree forests where goats sometimes climb the branches. We will arrive in Essaouira, a laid-back seaside town, and explore its charming medina, fortified walls, and fishing port.

Day 17: Essaouira

We will spend a full day in Essaouira, giving you time to relax by the beach, taste fresh seafood, and enjoy the artistic atmosphere of the town.

Day 18: Essaouira – Casablanca – Rabat

We will continue along the coast until Casablanca. There, we will stop to visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. Then we will proceed to Rabat, the capital of Morocco, for the night.

Day 19: Rabat – Tangier

We will explore Rabat in the morning: the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Oudaya Kasbah overlooking the Atlantic. Afterward, we will drive back to Tangier. You will have free time for shopping or relaxing by the sea.

Day 20: Tangier – Departure

We will transfer you to Tangier Airport in time for your flight home.
