This journey is more than a transfer , it’s a living story of landscapes, traditions, and amazing moments leading you to Marrakech .
Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Merzouga
Welcome, my friends! Today we begin our adventure from the historic city of Fes, leaving behind its ancient medina as we head south.
Our first stop is Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” with its alpine-style houses, clean streets, and the famous lion statue where we’ll take a short photo break.
Next, we’ll drive through the cedar forest of Azrou, home to the Barbary macaque monkeys, who often come close looking for food or just playing around.
We then continue to Midelt, nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains, where we’ll stop for lunch and relax in the fresh mountain air.
From there, the scenery changes as we pass through the Ziz Valley, with its palm groves and ancient kasbahs.
By evening, we’ll arrive at Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara. Here, a magical experience awaits: riding camels across the golden dunes to watch the sun setting over the desert. At night, we’ll stay in traditional desert tents, enjoying a local dinner, Berber music, and the unforgettable sight of a sky full of stars.
Day 2: Merzouga → Todra Gorge → Dades Valley → Ouarzazat
We’ll wake up early today to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga—a moment of peace and beauty that stays with you forever. After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and head toward the mountains.
Our first highlight will be the Todra Gorge, an impressive canyon with towering cliffs on both sides. You’ll have time to walk around, take photos, and enjoy the natural beauty.
From here, we drive through the Dades Valley, famous for its winding roads and rock formations known as the “Monkey Fingers.”
Along the way, we follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, dotted with fortified villages and mud-brick castles that tell stories of ancient caravan routes.
By sunset, we’ll arrive in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Many international movies have been filmed here, and if time allows, you can visit one of the famous film studios before resting at the hotel.
Day 3: Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Tizi n’Tichka → Marrakech
After breakfast, we set off to explore the legendary Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Walking through its narrow alleys feels like stepping back in time, and you may recognize it from several world-famous films and series.
From there, we begin our journey across the High Atlas Mountains, taking the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass. The winding roads offer breathtaking panoramic views, with small Berber villages scattered across the slopes.
In the late afternoon, we finally arrive in Marrakech, the vibrant “Red City,” where colors, sounds, and scents fill the bustling souks and lively squares. Our journey ends here, but the memories of the desert, the mountains, and the ancient kasbahs will stay with you forever.
