Spending our 20-day Marrakech adventure discovering Morocco is not just moving from place to place it’s living Morocco step by step. From the lively streets and colorful markets of the city to mountains, deserts, and quiet villages, each day brings a new taste, view, or story to remember. For those who don’t have much time, we also offer a 3-day program or 5-day , that gives a brief but memorable experience of Morocco’s spirit.

Day 1 – Welcome to Marrakech

From the very first steps of our Ultimate 20-Day Morocco Adventure Starting from Marrakech , the city surrounds you with colors, sounds, and scents. We’ll keep the arrival day relaxed: a gentle evening walk through the famous Jemaa el-Fna square. Food stalls, snake charmers, storytellers, and street musicians will give you your very first taste of Moroccan life.

Day 2 – The Heart of the Medina

Today we dive into Marrakech’s soul. We’ll wander through the winding alleys of the old Medina, visit the Bahia Palace with its elegant courtyards, and step into the historic Ben Youssef Madrasa. In the souks, every corner hides treasures ,spices, lamps, carpets ,all crafted by local artisans.

Day 3 – Day excursion to Ourika valey

Time for fresh mountain air. We’ll drive to the Ourika Valley, where Berber villages cling to the hillsides. Over tea by the river, you’ll enjoy the peaceful rhythm of life here. A walk to the waterfalls gives you a refreshing break from the city bustle. After this full day in Ourika valey , we will go back to to Marrakech.

Day 4 – From Marrakech to Ouarzazate via Ait Ben Haddou

We cross the High Atlas mountains through the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, surrounded by sweeping landscapes. Then comes Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage ksar that looks like it’s frozen in time. We end the day in Ouarzazate, often called the “gateway to the desert.”

Day 5 – from Ouarzazte to Boumalne Dades

After breakfast in Ouarzazate, we depart towards Boumalne Dades, passing through the Skoura Oasis with its ancient kasbahs, and then through the Valley of Roses.
We continue to the Monkey Fingers rock formations, known for their unique and impressive shapes, with stops along the way for photos and to enjoy the scenery.
After visiting the Dades Gorges, we head to our accommodation in Boumalne Dades, where we will spend the night.
Dinner and overnight stay in a calm and beautiful mountain setting.

Day 6 – Dades to Merzouga

Through Tinghir and the towering Todra Gorges, we continue until the golden dunes of Merzouga rise before us. In the afternoon, we ride camels into the desert camp. As the sun sinks, the sands glow in fiery colors, and the sky fills with stars.

Day 7 – Full day in Merzouga Desert

Enjoy a full day exploring the Sahara Desert. We will visit the seasonal desert lake, then continue to Khamlia village to experience Gnawa music and local culture.
We will also visit nomad families to learn about their traditional way of life.

In the evening, we return for another night in the desert camp or, if you prefer, overnight in a hotel, with dinner and breakfast included.

Day 8 – Across the Middle Atlas to Midelt

We leave the desert and drive through the lush Ziz Valley, dotted with palm groves and villages. By evening, we reach Midelt, a quiet mountain town known for its crisp air and apple orchards.

Day 9 – Midelt to Fes

On the way to Fes, we pass through cedar forests where Barbary monkeys roam and stop in Ifrane, a town that feels surprisingly Alpine. By the afternoon, we arrive in Fes, one of Morocco’s most fascinating imperial cities.

Day 10 – Discovering Fes

We spend the day exploring the labyrinth of Fes Medina, a UNESCO site and one of the world’s largest car-free areas. You’ll see the famous tanneries, historic madrasas, and vibrant artisan workshops. It’s like stepping back in time.

Day 11 – Fes to Chefchaouen

We head north towards the Rif Mountains. By evening, the “Blue Pearl” of Morocco appears: Chefchaouen, a town where every wall and staircase is painted in calming shades of blue.

Day 12 – Full day in Chefchaouen

A relaxing day in Chefchaouen. Stroll to Ras El Maa waterfall, sip tea in cozy cafés, and wander through the maze of blue alleys. This is a place to slow down and simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Day 13 – Chefchaouen to Tanger

From the Rif Mountains, we reach Tangier a city where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean. We’ll visit Hercules Cave, Cap Spartel lighthouse, and stroll through the lively old town. Tangier has always been a city of travelers and artists.

Day 14 – Tanger to Asilah

A short drive takes us to Asilah, a quiet coastal town famous for its whitewashed walls and colorful street art. The sea breeze and relaxed vibe make it the perfect stop to rest and recharge.

Day 15 – Assilah to Rabat, the Capital

We continue to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. We’ll explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, with its ocean views, and see the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum of Mohammed V, symbols of Morocco’s history and pride.

Day 16 – Casablanca by the Sea

Next, we travel to Casablanca. The grand Hassan II Mosque rises dramatically over the ocean, one of the largest in the world. Later, a walk along the Corniche offers a more modern side of Morocco.

Day 17 – Towards Essaouira

The coastal road leads us to Essaouira, a charming fishing town. Seagulls circle above the port, waves crash against the walls, and the town’s ramparts tell stories of centuries past.

Day 18 – Essaouira’s Spirit

A free day to enjoy Essaouira at your own pace. Walk along the beach, discover Gnawa music, shop for argan oil, or simply relax in a café overlooking the sea. Essaouira’s laid-back atmosphere is unforgettable.

Day 19 – Back to Marrakech

We return to Marrakech for our final evening together. Tonight, we celebrate with a traditional Moroccan dinner, complete with music, dance, and flavors that capture the spirit of the country.

Day 20 – Farewell Morocco
