Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech and First Impressions
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, we will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or riad in the heart of the old medina. After some rest, we’ll head out for a light evening stroll in the famous Jemaa el-Fna Square, the beating heart of Marrakech. Here, you’ll experience the lively atmosphere filled with storytellers, musicians, snake charmers, food stalls, and traditional sweets. In the evening, you will enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner accompanied by live music before returning to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Crossing the High Atlas Mountains – Ouarzazate – Aït Ben Haddou – Overnight in Dades
We start early in the morning, driving through the spectacular Tizi n’Tichka Pass at an altitude of over 2,200 meters, where breathtaking mountain views and small Berber villages await. Our first stop will be in Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco,” where you can visit the famous film studios used in many international movies.
We then continue towards the Aït Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most iconic examples of Moroccan earthen clay architecture. Exploring its narrow alleys feels like stepping back in time. Afterward, we drive through valleys and traditional villages until we reach the beautiful Dades Valley, where we will spend the night surrounded by dramatic landscapes and tranquility.
Day 3: Dades Valley – Tinghir – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we continue through the Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations and deep gorges. Our journey takes us to Tinghir, a charming town with lush palm groves. There we visit the impressive Todgha Gorge, with towering cliffs reaching up to 300 meters, offering stunning views and photo opportunities.
In the afternoon, we head towards the desert of Merzouga, passing through Erfoud, known as the gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival, you’ll swap the car for camels and ride across the golden dunes to reach the desert camp. As the sun sets over the Sahara, the magical scenery will leave unforgettable memories. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars with music around the campfire. Overnight in a comfortable desert tent.
Day 4: Sunrise over the Sahara and Return to Marrakech
Today begins with a unique experience: watching the sunrise over the Merzouga dunes, a view that will stay with you forever. After breakfast and a camel ride back to the hotel, we begin our long journey back to Marrakech, crossing once more through the High Atlas Mountains. Although the drive takes about 9 hours, the changing landscapes , from desert plains to mountain peaks , make it an enriching journey. In the evening, we arrive in Marrakech, where you can rest at your hotel or enjoy a final evening stroll. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day 5: Transfer to Marrakech Airport
