Day 1: Welcome to Marrakech!
Upon arrival in Marrakech, our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to settle in, relax, and refresh after your journey.
In the afternoon or evening, depending on your schedule, you can begin exploring the city , wandering through the lively souks, admiring the historic architecture, or enjoying a traditional Moroccan meal. Your guide will be available to provide tips and information to make your first experience in Marrakech comfortable and memorable.


Day 2: Marrakech to dades :
After breakfast, We will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech to begin our Journey of Ten Sunsets: 10 Days from Marrakech to the Sahara toward the Dades Valley. As you leave the bustling city behind, the scenery will gradually change from palm-lined avenues to breathtaking mountain landscapes.
Along the way, you will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, where the road offers stunning panoramic views and opportunities to stop for pictures. You’ll travel through traditional Berber villages where life has remained unchanged for centuries. Your guide or driver will share information about local customs, the importance of agriculture in the region, and the history of the mountain tribes.
You will also have the chance to visit one or two well-known sites along the route, such as an argan oil cooperative, where you can learn about the production of this valuable Moroccan product, or a small kasbah that reflects the region’s architectural style. As you get closer to Dades, the red and orange rock formations become more dramatic, creating a landscape unlike anywhere else in Morocco.
Upon arrival in the Dades Valley, you will check into your hotel or riad, where you can relax, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner, and unwind after a day full of travel and discovery. The peaceful environment of the valley, with its winding river and towering cliffs, is the perfect setting to rest before continuing your adventure the next day.


Day 3: Into the Sahara Desert :
Today, our journey continues toward Merzouga and the edge of the Sahara Desert. This day offers some of the most spectacular scenery of your entire trip.
As we leave the Dades Valley, you will pass through a region known for its dramatic rock formations and ancient kasbahs. The route takes you through the famous Todra Gorge, a natural wonder with towering canyon walls that rise nearly 300 meters. You’ll have time to walk through the gorge, take photos, and enjoy the fresh air by the river that flows between the cliffs.
Continuing south, the landscapes begin to transform gradually from mountain valleys to desert plains. You will cross several small towns and Berber villages, such as Tinjdad and Erfoud. In Erfoud, known as the “gateway to the desert,” we may stop at a fossil workshop to see how artisans transform ancient desert stones into unique pieces of art , a perfect opportunity to learn more about the geology of the region.
As we get closer to Merzouga, the sight of the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi rising in the distance is truly unforgettable. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with traditional Moroccan hospitality , mint tea and a warm welcome. you can either check in at your desert camp and prepare for a camel ride into the dunes to watch a magical sunset over the Sahara.
In the evening, you’ll enjoy dinner under the stars, listening to traditional Berber music by the campfire. The calm and silence of the desert create a peaceful atmosphere that is perfect for relaxing and reflecting on the day’s journey.


Day 4: From the Desert to Fes :
After breakfast in Merzouga, we will begin our journey back north toward Fes, traveling through some of Morocco’s most scenic landscapes. Leaving the golden dunes behind, the route takes you through desert plains, rocky plateaus, and traditional Berber villages.
We will pass through Erfoud, the fossil capital. . Continuing through Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas Mountains, you’ll notice a dramatic change in scenery , from arid desert to forested mountains and green valleys. This is a great place to stop for photos or a short walk.
As we climb the Middle Atlas Mountains, the roads wind past cedar forests and small Berber villages. You may spot local wildlife such as monkeys or wild birds along the way. The landscape here is peaceful and provides a perfect contrast to the desert you left behind.
In the late afternoon, we will arrive in Fes. You will be transferred to your hotel to relax, freshen up, and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner. This journey gives you a full experience of Morocco’s diversity .


Day 5: Fes Guided Tour :
This morning, you will embark on a full guided tour of this historic city, one of Morocco’s most fascinating cultural centers. Your local guide will lead you through the winding streets of the medina of Fes, a UNESCO World Heritage site, explaining the city’s rich history, traditions, and architecture.
You will visit Al Quaraouiyine University, one of the oldest universities in the world, and explore its impressive architecture. Then, you’ll wander through the bustling souks, where artisans craft everything from leather goods to metalwork, textiles, and pottery. Your guide will explain the different trades and their significance in Moroccan culture.
Other highlights include the Chouara Tannery, where you can see the traditional leather dyeing process, and historic sites such as Bou Inania Madrasa and the Medersa el-Attarine, with their intricate tilework and carved wood decorations.


Day 6: Fes to Chefchaouen :
After breakfast in Fes, we will begin our Journey of Ten Sunsets: 10 Days from Marrakech to the Sahara toward Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” nestled in the Rif Mountains. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes, including rolling hills, river valleys, and charming Berber villages along the way.
On the route, we may stop in Rif Mountain viewpoints for photos and short breaks, giving you the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. You might also pass through small towns and markets, where locals sell traditional goods, spices, and handicrafts.
As we approach Chefchaouen, you’ll begin to notice the town’s iconic blue-painted streets and buildings, creating a serene and photogenic atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Morocco. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have time to relax.


Day 7: full day in Chefchaouen :
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City” in the Rif Mountains. Your local guide will lead you through the medina, where every street and alley is painted in shades of blue, creating a peaceful and photogenic atmosphere.
You’ll visit Plaza Uta el-Hammam, the town’s central square, surrounded by cafés and traditional restaurants , a perfect spot to enjoy mint tea and watch daily life unfold. From there, you can explore the local souks, where artisans sell woven textiles, pottery, leather goods, and other handcrafted items. Your guide will explain the town’s unique culture, history, and the significance of its blue-painted buildings.
In the afternoon, you can hike up to the Spanish Mosque, located on a hill overlooking the city. From here, you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Chefchaouen, the surrounding mountains, and the valleys below , an ideal spot for photos and soaking in the serene beauty of the region.

Day 8: Chefchaouen To Rabat :
Today, we will begin our Journey of ten sunsets: Marrakech and the Sahara toward Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes, including the Rif Mountains, rolling hills, and small villages, giving you a glimpse of rural Moroccan life.
Along the way, we may stop in towns such as Tetouan or Ouezzane, depending on your interests and timing, to stretch your legs, take photos, or explore local markets. Your guide will share insights about the region’s culture, history, and architecture.
As we approach Rabat, you’ll notice the transition from mountainous terrain to the Atlantic coast. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel and have time to relax before beginning your exploration of the city.
Day 9: Rabat Guided Tour :
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full day exploring Rabat, Morocco’s capital city. Your local guide will lead you through its historic and cultural highlights, offering fascinating insights into the city’s past and present.
The day begins with a visit to the Kasbah of the Udayas, a 12th-century fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with narrow streets, white-and-blue houses, and beautiful gardens. It’s a perfect spot for photos and a peaceful walk.
Next, you will explore the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, two of Rabat’s most iconic landmarks. The Mausoleum houses the tombs of King Mohammed V and his family and is renowned for its beautiful architecture and intricate decorations.
You’ll also visit the Royal Palace area, where you can admire the grandeur of Morocco’s monarchy from outside, and explore Medina streets, filled with local shops and traditional crafts. Your guide will share stories about the city’s history, culture, and significance as a political and cultural capital.


Day 10: Return to Marrakech :
This morning, we will begin our journey back to Marrakech. The drive takes you through scenic landscapes, passing by rolling hills, fertile plains, and small towns, giving you a final chance to enjoy Morocco’s diverse countryside.
When we reah Marrakech, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax and refresh. In the evening, you can enjoy a final stroll through Marrakech.
